Dr. Marco Sariana received his medical degree from the UABC Faculty of Medicine in Mexicali, Mexico. His Social service internships followed in Ensenada and Mexicali. Four years of additional General Surgery training were finished at Hospital General de Zacatecas, Mexico. Dr. Sarinana completed Bariatric Surgery and Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery training in 2007 in Tijuana, along with a Fellowship in Gastric Balloon and Gastric Banding. As part of his ongoing preparation, he expanded his studies and practice to include Diagnostic Endoscopy and training in various weight reduction procedures.
Dr. Sarinana began training and specializing in Cosmetic & Aesthetic Surgeries in 2013, primarily because he anticipated that his weight loss patient would require cosmetic surgery in the near future. He is recognized as the “Complete Makeover Doctor” because he treats severe cases for weight reduction and cosmetic enhancement. He is a member of the “Colegio de Profesionistas en Cirugía Estética” and got his advanced cosmetic surgery training in Veracruz, Mexico.
